Facebook is a riot. I know, since I have a blog why am I on Facebook? All I have to say is High School baby! My friend Amy convinced me to join about 6 months ago when she found a long lost High School friend who is now a Professor in Georgia. (I never thought he was that smart.) Lately High School buddies have been coming out of the wood work. I must admit I hated High School but, now that is sufficently over, it's fun to catch up with the people without the High School stresses and angst that were involved in that period of my life. So anyway you should join.
I want to be your friend.

"I need to eat breakfast...

because in Kindergarten you don't get snacks."
-Emma Vader
The cruel reality of grown up life has hit home to my little girl.
Emma started Kindergarten a few weeks ago and she loves it.
Her class does science experiments, has to run a lap at recess, is learning about the days of the week and she has math homework every night, along with 20 minutes reading. She has to wear the cutest little uniform.
A couple years ago , when Emma started Preschool, Mark was dropping her off to school on her first day, she turned to her father and said "I am ready to go now." Break our hearts.
I just pictured us in the pre-mortal world turning to our Father in Heaven and saying "I am ready to go now." I am sure Father felt the same apprehension we felt about letting our children go into a scary and dangerous world.

Lost
I am a little lost today, Emma and Anna are both at school and Miss Adelie is sleeping, my house is too quiet. I am unsure of what to do? Adelie and I ran some errands this morning but, now we are just waiting to go pick up the big girls. What am I suppose to be doing? Cleaning my house or mowing the rest of my lawn seem a little extreme, I don't have to do that do I? The Olympics are over so I can't spend the next hour mindlessly in front of the TV watching badmitten or rowing. I am sure if I called Mark he might give me a list to do but, then I would just have to disappoint him by not doing it and anyway I am the one that shoudl be distributing to do lists. Hmmmm? Off to surf the web and maybe play a little sudoku.

Adventures at Noyes Ranch
About a month ago, the family went
Four-Wheeling at Mark's Family Reunion.
We had a blast. We went to the home of Mark's Uncle, up Weber Canyon. They call it a ranch but, its more like a gorgeous huge house on their own little piece of heaven.
Here are some great pictures , I had to share.
Uncle Dick and Aunt Eileen
Mark and I
Uncle Frank and Nate
Uncle Frank and Nate showing off. After Uncle Frank went over the titter-totter obstacle, I turned to Mark and said " You're not going to let your Uncle show you up, are you?" Seconds later we were going over it on Sondra's Polaris Ranger. I should have kept my mouth shut.
Emma and Aunt JoAnne.
Emma stayed behind with Aunt JoAnne and was her special helper.
We had such a great time and Emma and JoAnne are now best buds.

Indoor Camping
I think the girls are trying to tell us something. They go camping in the living room almost every day, complete with cold weather gear, sleeping bags and pillows. They even invite Adelie along and make her a tent out of couch pillows. ( By the way Anna is wearing my dress boats, she is in the stage where she loves wearing my shoes.)
