Anna started school last week.
I had a much harder time with the transition then she did .
I think she has been ready to go to school for a while now, I've just had a hard time letting go of my baby, even after I had the new little baby to back fill her position.
Anna loved school and didn't bat an eye or even say goodbye when I dropped her off on her first day of school. How rude!
Adelie and I just sit around looking confused on what to do next.
I am sure we will figure it out.
Emma said the other day
" Mommy, I am sorry, I am not listening to you."
I was confused and asked what she meant.
She told me, " You told me to stop growing up but, I just am."
Next thing you know Emma will be ordering ice sculptures for her wedding reception and Anna will be sending us her college tuition bill
( I'll make sure and forward both those bills on to the Grandparents).

Emma's Big Party
On Saturday we had a Friend Party for Emma's Birthday,
complete with a My Little Pony cake, silly string, root beer floats,
hat decorating, a pinata (including a specialized pinata stick ,
that cost more than the pinata).
I am afraid there were a few tears amongst the joyous celebration.
A few of the kids were afraid of the silly string. (huh?)
I am happy to report Emma had a wonderful time.
She is so lucky to have so many awesome friends.

Happy Birthday Emma

So more important then my new decorations, is my 5 year old Emma.
She told me this morning when I was doing her hair, she didn't feel 5.When as we traveled to meet Grandma Sondra and Grandpa Kay she said it again. Finally at about 11:30 this morning she said "Mommie I feel 5 now."
What an amazing, smart, beautiful, funny, caring, loving daughter I have.
When Adelie was born Emma said " We are so lucky to have a baby."
Today I feel so lucky to have my, not-so-little anymore, Emma.
My two new clocks

For Mother's Day ( my mothers day presents create the best stories) I received a Cricut Expression from my loving husband. A scrapbookers dream. While for a paper scrapbooker yes, not so much for those who have converted to the digital world. Mark said my expression when I saw my present in the back of the car was like someone had sh** in the back of the car. Another
Mother's Day gift he would have to return. So in place of my beloved Cricut
(that now I wished I would of kept) I bought a new clock( because Jane told me to).
Here is my new clock for my newly painted wall.
My other new clock is my Adelie. Besides being the cutest baby ever, she is quiet squirmy these days. When she lays on the ground on her back, she scoots her legs and torso around counter clockwise, while keeping her head in the same relative position. What a cutie.

More Athletic Inspiration.
So I have a list of some of the funniest people I know. On the top or very close to is my dear friend Jody. He is a total crack up. Now he is not only funny but, inspirational.
Jody writes for the Deseret News, you have to check out his last column and accomplishment.
I am so proud of him, I started getting a little teary by the end of the article.
Way to go Jody.

Carrie's International Running Club
So if you have checked out Rachel Anderson's blog you will see that she has become addicted to running because of me (Not sure if that is good or bad) but, I have inspired a nation. I talked to Rachael Horstmann on Tuesday and she has begun running.
I am a nationwide inspiration. (National because Horstmann is in Chicago and moving shortly to Cleveland). I hope to take my influence international soon. Who wants to move out of the country?
